Today the following message to Remi Fahed felt into my mailbox:
Dear Mr Fahed
Your manuscript entitled "Spectroscopy of the archetype colliding-wind binary WR 140 during the 2009 January periastron passage", ref. MN-11-0506-MJ.R1, has now been accepted for publication in Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society Main Journal.
The details are as follows:
Accepted 2011 May 6. Received 2011 May 5; in original form 2011 March 7
The paper contains 7 figures and 8 tables. Table 6 will be published in full online only.
Please note that Monthly Notices aims to publish accepted papers on the Web within 30 days of acceptance.
I consider this publication in one of the leading refereed professional journals as the highlight of our Mons campaign. Again: Thanks to everybody who contributed with his/her skills and enthusiasm and congratulations for this success. It will be a good argument to the IAC for future time allotment at Teide.
