Call for Speaker, Poster and Devices

On 9-11 June 2017 the VdS section spectroscopy will be holding their annual
spectroscopy conference in co-operation with the Swiss spectroscopists.
The conference will take place at the guesthouse of Bethanien monastry
in St. Niklausen in Switzerland. Between Lucerne and the Eiger north wall
we will meet in a spectacular environment and will enjoy a meeting place of the highest quality.
Lucerne on Lake Lucerne is reachable within an hour and invites you with culture and shopping.
So it is also worthwhile for the astronomically uninterested partners to come to St. Niklausen.
We are looking forward to receiving your application.

As in the past years, we want to guarantee a good and also new content!

Your individual contribution is more important to us than a big name.
Here you can play a key role by applying as a speaker.
Creativity has no limits, of course. That includes contributions for, e.g., youth research,
meteorite spectroscopy, variable stars, spectroscopic equipment,
computer-assisted reduction of spectra and much more.

To apply, please send an e-mail to:
Patricia Otero ( oterpa@gmx.ch ) or Rainer Borchmann ( Rainer@Borchmann.de )

Information about the participant registration, prices and the program will be posted on our
conference website http://spektralklasse.de/index_e.htm
Application for presentaions:
- Formulate a title and the rough content for a 20 - 45 minutes lecture.
- Pack everything into an e-mail and send it to the above email addresses.
- For planning the conference, please send us your proposals for your contribution until February 15.
- This is also valid for poster presentations.
- The sooner you apply, the better! We continuously scan the material and publish it on the conference website.
- If you wish, we will publish your presentation in our section website or in the section journal.
Clear Skys
