Der Komet hat am 22. Februar den Jupiter in 1,2 AE Abstand passiert.

Die Helligkeitsparameter werden mit H = 11.0 und 2.5n = 8 angegeben. Damit ergibt sich eine Maximalhelligkeit in der Nähe des Perihels von etwa 15 mag.
