Hello All,

It is hard to believe that it has been 7 years since the ESA Rosetta Mission arrived at Comet 67P carrying the Philae Lander and 5 years since the mission ended. A very impressive mission with a few problems which one would expect for such an adventure.

So I thought that these images of Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko might be of interest to some. In the images the comet is magnitude 17.2 with a 12" coma but no evidence of a tail, spacecraft debris or the Philae Lander hopping around (the lander was a great achievement with a little misfortune).

Interestingly, Erik Bryssinck submitted an image of 67P taken 2 hours before these images collected by a SLOAN telescope in Chile, they are in the Comet Image Database if one wants to compare them, both in the same star field of course.
