Alberto Fernando, Anatoly Miroshnichenko, Johan Knapen, Jose Ribeiro, Thierry Garrel, Norbert Reinecke and me successfully applied for 10 nights at the IAC80 telescope at Tenerife to obtain spectra of the delta Sco periastron passage in July.
Scientific PI is Anatoly Miroshnichenko from Greensboro University (USA), campaign management PI is José Ribeiro (Portugal). Whoever wants to join this project with his/her own home observations should give respective information to José Ribeiro (jmscrib (>) gmail.com). We are highly interested in spectroscopic and photometric observations during the passage as well as before and after it.
