Moin,
heute Nachmittag kam ne Anfrage nach vspec und Windows 10 bei mir an.
Bei mir klappte vSpex mit 1607 auch nicht . Aber Valery Desnoux konnte mir gleich einen
Tipp geben:

Die Entwicklerin von VSpec weiß also nicht, wie es korrekt in Windows eingebaut werden muss...!? :shock:

Hallo Thomas,
nee so ganz einfach sind die Verhältnisse bei Windows 10 ja nicht.
Es gibt alle paar Wochen updates zu Windows 10. Nicht nur 'Updates sondern auch
Upgrades. Also völlig neue Systeme.(die dann Thershold oder Redstone I oder Redstone II heißen)
Das sind diese sogenannten Release Builds. Manchmal eben
auch unangekündigt. So kam Freitag Abend 18:00 eine völlig neue Version unangekündigt.
Perfekt für einen Freitagabned, weil bei MS ja auch Samstag und Sonntag der Support nahezu
schläft. Und das Upgrade vom Freitag auf 20% auf Rechnenn weltweit sich nicht installieren lässt. Da wird diese Woche noch ein Fix fällig.
Da Chaos ist nahezu perfekt, weil Updates und Upgrades in verschiedenen Nutzerringen
schon vorab zum Testen veröffentlicht werden. Die kann jeder der Windows 10 Nutzer
beziehen, in dem er sich in EINSTELLUNGEN --> UPDATE--> WINDOWS INSIDER PROGRAMM dort
anmeldet. Da gibts frühe Updates, spätere (nach 2 Wochen) Updates und Release Update, die man
dann zeitnah von MS bekommt..... also immer vor der öffentlichen Updates. So ist das Chaos vorprogrammiert.
Aber es macht Sinn Graphikkartenhersteller, Treiberhersteller usw. Vorabversionen zur Verfügung zu stellen.

Valerie trifft da eigentlich keine Schuld. Ihr Programm wurde für Windows XP mit Visual Basic 6 entwickelt.
Da lohnt es sichj schon immermal für kleines Geld so ein altes XP Schätzchen am Leben zu behalten.

Lange Rede kurzer Sinn.... Ich bin eigentlich ganz froh das Valerie auch kurzfristig immermal einen Tip hat.
Andersrum gehts ja auch zb. bei RSPEC das kostet aber mittlerweile 100 Dollar pro Jahr für Updates bei an RSpec.
Es läuft 30 Tage kostenlos. Aber wer will aller 30 tage schon eine Virtuelle Maschine neu kopieren und jedesmal ein
frisches RSpec für 30 Tage am Laufen haben. Das macht man nur 3.. 4 mal dann rückt man die Knete raus

I'm not sure if I fully understand the question, as I don't read German and
the machine translation is not good, but if it relates to the problem of getting
VSpec to run under the latest Win 10 (32/64) version 1607 then I discovered that
the following config settings work for me, and others:

Note, if when starting VSpec you first get a User Account Control
yellow/white box, then select the ‘yes’ option.

Hi Bernard,
Ulrich Waldschlaeger ask me yesterday to solve a starting issue of vspec, after he updated his machine.
After a update of Windows, it wont start, wont open any vspec windows. so also didnot start
any control options ander vspec.
So i tested it under the friday upgrade (KB 3294496). It installed the build 14393.222.
And yes vspec wont started. (No reaction after klicking the icon- also under admin rights).
So i contacted Valerie and she gave me the hint that vspec can start unter the option that
the display mode 8 bits.(under Settings for the vspec.exe- right click in explorer) Now it runs fine.
It seems that this error comes only in the build 14393.222 on a 64 bit machine.
Yes my english is very poor, but i hope you can understand me.
Thank for your hint to change the config settings at start. Im sure that Windows comes
with surprises in next version, so we can need this hint.

I am pleased that you have now got VSpec running using Valerie's suggestion,
which is basically the information I gave her when the problem first
appeared.
Your English is many times better than my German!
A small clarification ... I am in Australia, not the UK.

nach einem Update im Hintergrund geht nix mehr, danke MS!
VSpec geht nicht und was noch viel schlimmer ist, die V-Box mit MIDAS ist gestorben.
Ein Versuch mit überprüfen der Kompatibilität brachte auch nichts.

Hallo Siegfried,
Das hatte ich auch. Du solltest mal die Partitions überprüfen. Dazu mußt Du den Rechner mit einem USB-Stick starten. Den einschlägigen Befehl habe ich vergessen, der findet sich aber im Internet.

MIDAS läuft wieder, habe von Oracle die neueste Version runter geladen und installiert. Hat erstaunlicherweise funktioniert,
bis jetzt noch!

Hallo Rainer,

habe den Build 1607, dei Anzeige auf 8 bit umstellen, hab ich noch nicht probiert.
