Hello Juan, the variations of the H and He lines are very impressive. Is that the normal situation of this star? I've never seen such strong variability of this "high temperature" lines in the spectrum of a star.

Hallo Lothar. The CH Cyg, is a very dynamic symbiotic, and is one of the stars, priority for AARAS observers. I do not think this is the most normal situation, of this star, I'm not an analyst and I can not tell you much more. The CH Cyg, is a very observed star, in the aaras database, http://www.astrosurf.com/aras/Aras_Data ... /CHCyg.htm, there are about 465 graphs. Regards, Joan.
