Hallo Uwe

Das neue Jahr fängt gut an.
I habe den Kometen COMET P/2018 A2 = P/2013 CU_129 (PANSTARRS) wiederentdeckt,
ferngesteuert am o,8m Hamburger-Schmidt auf dem Calar Alto, siehe:

http://www.cbat.eps.harvard.edu/iau/cbe ... 004474.txt

Die CBET-Nachricht 4475 dazu:
Erwin Schwab, Egelsbach, Germany, reports the recovery of comet P/2013
CU_129 (cf. CBET 3558) on images that he obtained remotely on Jan. 16.9 UT
with the 0.8-m f/3 Schmidt reflector at Calar Alto, Spain (with measurement
assistance by M. Micheli and D. Koschny). No coma and no tail was visible
on frames with a total exposure time of 600 s. After receiving Schwab's
report, G. V. Williams identified incidental astrometry of the comet from
observations made at Mount Lemmon by D. C. Fuls on Jan. 12.4. The astrometry
is tabulated below.

Herzlichen Glückwunsch!
