Hi all, as I had presented in an older Spektrum-Artikel, I was now able to use two slicer plates to cut the image twice. Attached is a picture of a quick result, non-sliced, sliced twice and once. The bright halo around the image comes from the achromatic lens, I've used to reimage with high maginfication the sliced image of the octagnonal (you can see the shape) fibre onto the ccd. So, that would not be present in a real application, where the collimator follows the intermediate image at the slicer. The advantage compare to a Bowen-Walraven Slicer is the same optical path difference for both sliced images! best wishes, D
