Here's a short article that I wrote about how to confirm planetary Nebulae in spectroscopy and all information about how to submit your results : http://o.garde.free.fr/Planetary_nebula ... mation.pdf |

Hello Olivier, nice paper - thanks for sharing. By the way, if you would add a continuum to the emission lines signature, you would also be able to indentify seyferth galaxies Best wishes, Michael |

Hello Michael, During spectro campaign to get spectra PN candidate, we have found 2 Seyfert Galaxy. See our report here (see page 24 to 28) http://o.garde.free.fr/RapportMissionCalern2017.pdf |

Bonjour Olivier, thanks for the paper - and receive my congrats for the Seyfert-discovery. As I have worked with Seyfert-Galxies in my PhD, it is impressing what you and the team have done here - amazing! Just a few remarks: - Both spectra - (App1 and Pre24) show no continuum, this can be explained by the high magnitude, so only the emission line are visible. With a longer exposure time, the continuum should become remarkable - The App1-profile shows a [OIII]-line which seems to be broaded than the other emission lines, this could be interpreted as a hint to a broading typical for a Seyfert-1-type galaxy - The Pre24-Profile have nice, distinct lines, with no broadening, so I would suppose that this could be Seyfert-2-type galaxy I have described this Seyfert-type criteria in some of my postings in this forum. Best wishes, Michael |

Michael, Thank you very much for all these explanations. By the way, a question : do you know somebody who lists the new galaxies ? Because the 2 in our report are not referenced anywhere |

Hello Olivier in such cases, the way is to publish a paper in a magazin. When I worked as a professional astronomer, I was lucky to find a Xray galaxy which was unknown, and a article in the Monthly notes Royal Astronomical society then was used to inform the community. For doing this, you have to work out the discovery details in a more elaborate way. Also you have to do a few investigations at other wavelength to get a full picture of the galaxies. If you are interested, we can discuss this via email, so I can support you and the team. Just sent me a message. Best wishes Michael |
