Hi,

is anyone able to provide current high res data with:
- R > 25.000
- SNR 150 or better
- from 6330 to 6450 Angstrom,

on a star (Rho Cas) with about mag 4.7 and Teff about 7300 Kelvin?

We have a problem with emission in absorbtion lines and want to test an idea!

Please contact us in this thread or via pm.

Cheers
Malin and Christoph

Hi Daniel,

thank you! We know already this data. The problem is, that we need current high res data on Rho Cas. That means not older than three weeks.

Cheers
Christoph

Hi Malin and Christoph,
Enclosed a 2400 s rhoCas spectrum from last night with R 22600 and SNR aprox. 150.
Currently the system works with 2 x 2 binning close to the Nyquist sampling. Better resolution could be possible with smaller entrance slit and 1 x 1 binning but would kill the SNR….
Other orders of Echelle spectrum are also available.

Kind regards,
Ulrich
