Erwin Schwab aus unserer Fachgruppe hat diesen Kometen wiederentdeckt. Herzlichen Glückwunsch! Der Originaltext der CBET-Meldung:
Code:
COMET P/2019 K3 = P/2007 R1 (LARSON)
E. Schwab, Egelsbach, Germany, reports his recovery of comet P/2007 R1
(cf. IAUC 8867) on CCD images taken remotely with the 0.8-m f/3 Schmidt
reflector at Calar Alto, Spain, on two nights (May 29 and June 3 UT); no coma
and no tail was visible on frames with a total exposure time of 600 s. G. V.
Williams, Minor Planet Center, reports his recovery of this comet also in
incidental astrometry submitted by the Pan-STARRS1 survey (apparently
asteroidal images obtained with the 1.8-m Ritchey-Chretien reflector at
Haleakala on May 31). The astrometry is tabulated below.
