R. Weryk reports cometary activity of an asteroidal NEOCP candidate (first
reported by Pan-STARRS 2 - F52 on Jul. 9 UT) in three 40-second follow-up
images taken at CFHT (T14) on Jul. 11 UT, noting a condensed 0".6 coma and
a straight 8" tail at position angle 230 deg. Prediscovery positions were
reported back to Apr. 2024. The extended arc allowed P. Sicoli to make the
identification of the new object with minor planet 2002 QU151.
