R. Weryk reports the discovery of a comet in four 45-second w-band survey
images taken by Pan-STARRS 2 (F52) on Aug. 27 UT, suspecting activity based on
a soft appearance of the object. Weryk subsequently observed the object by CFHT
(T14) on Aug. 31 UT in three 60-second exposures, noting a very condensed 0".2
coma and a straight 3" tail at position angle 130 deg.
