Together with Jürgen Neubert I implemented a new main webpage in our section site called MIDAS with VMware. This page contains a description why and how to install and use MIDAS on a personal computer including all necessary software plus user manuals (english translation of the manuals is not available, yet).
I strongly recommend to try the installation and the use of MIDAS. Just two days ago I did it myself within an hour. Because I had some questions Jürgen helped my via email. This page intents to reduce such questions. So, don't hesitate to aks here in english or german:

Jürgen presently works on a new VMware/MIDAS distribution on Fedora 15. We will update the page after finishing.
