Hello,
Sometimes it is nice to try to image faint comets with bright objects and see what happens with very little image processing.
In this image Comet 405P/Lemmon was 1/4 degree from the background M104 Sombrero Galaxy. As one can tell from my images I don't due much image processing of my images. To show the comet in the same image as the galaxy the galaxy had to be overexposed as one can see. The inset of M104 is a crop of the overexposed galaxy in the image with a little contrast and brightness adjustment.
The second image shows just the comet at magnitude 18.8, unfortunately it was very windy for these images.
