Our STAROS project team has designed a device that scans the sun at the wavelength of your choice: - point the Sun with the integrated solar finder - launch the application on your smartphone or tablet - let the earth rotate for 2 to 3 minutes - you get the result without any processing (but the raw video is also available). just tested the SUNSCAN on the move.  This one is just placed on the ground and in less than 3 minutes we get this type of image.  So I could have optimized the focus, because here the SUNSCAN is just out of the backpack. |

Sunscan completed in 5 minutes (including installation and automatic processing).  all these images were produced automatically from a single scan (no manual processing) |
